Keuze antibioticum op geleide van kweek.

General comments

Duur behandeling afhankelijk van beloop (2-6 wkn). Streven naar volledige drainage.

Wees bij (lange therapieduur met) metronidazol alert op de mogelijkheid van neurotoxiciteit.
