Geen behandeling tenzij ernstige infectie of immuungecompromitteerd; dan zo vroeg mogelijk omdat vroegtijdige behandeling verkorting van ziekte- en uitscheidingsduur kan opleveren, uitgestelde behandeling leidt alleen tot verkorting van de uitscheidingsduur.
