General comments
Overweeg antimicrobiële therapie bij patiënten met een (verhoogd risico op een) afwijkend beloop van de klachten: ernstig ziek zijn, opnieuw koorts na een aantal koortsvrije dagen, klachten die in een periode van 2 weken niet zijn afgenomen, >3 klachtenepisoden per jaar, gestoorde afweer.
In 90-99% viraal of allergisch.
